THE SCALE REMOVAL PROCESS

What Causes Scale?
Inorganic materials and mineral substances such as calcium, magnesium and iron.

What is "ionization"?

An ion is an atom or group of atoms with a net electric charge. Ionization is the process of separating a compound into ions, especially by dissolution in water.  The process ejects one or more electrons from an atom or molecule to produce a fragment with a net positive charge. The process is used to dissolve
minerals.

What is the difference between our system and other systems that use electromagnetic power to ionize scale?

Other electromagnetic systems INDIRECTLY IONIZE SCALE. These other systems use magnetic power to ionize scale causing elements in water. Ionizing only the fluid in pipes can lead to unreliable results.

ESR DIRECTLY IONIZES SCALE.

ESR directly ionizes scale causing material in the water, resulting in consistent scale reduction and prevention.

  • ESR applies electromagnetic waves to electrify water that flows through pipes.
  •  When applying  electromagnetic waves,  a density of intersecting electric flux and magnetic flux  appears.
  • The electromagnetic field alternates the direction of flux over several 10,000 times per second.

  • There are involutions of kinetic energy of flow.  However, the vibration of the water molecules is moderate and about 1/10,000  of the vibrations in a microwave oven. Therefore, this vibration will NOT generate heat.
  • Ionized scale elements (such as Ca2+ & Mg2+) also vibrate within the magnetic field and collide with water molecules. When the colliding energy exceeds  the ionization voltage, electrons are released, resulting in ionized water molecules

  • When adhesion of calcium carbonate (CaCo3) and calcium phosphate (CaHPO3) are the cause of scale in pipes, hydration ions and positive ions  of scale elements collide with elements in the scale.  Ions then absorb the  electrons from the scale element when the energy exceeds the ionization voltage.

  • Water molecules in the flow take on the  characteristics of a magnet - spinning and vibrating within the magnetic field.
